Delhi Police lodged FIR against 4 AAP MLA’s

NEW DELHI(29-10-2020): The Delhi Police has lodged an FIR against the MLAs of the AAP as they protested against the proposal to privatize the sanitation work in South Delhi at the Standing Board of the South Delhi Metropolitan Council (SDMC).

An FIR has been filed against Aam Aadmi Party legislators Kuldeep Monu (Kondli), Rakhi Bidlan (Mangolpuri), Akhilesh Tripathi (Model Town) and Rohit Mahroliya (Tirlokpuri) under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Party activists held protests at the Civic Center in central Delhi, which started at 1 pm yesterday, with about two thousand workers joining AAP MLAs, police said.

The police had tried to control them when the protesters came to the road block. More than 9 policemen were injured in clashes between police and activists.
